The Better World Initiative has supported alternative education for youth in New Zealand, and the provision of teaching services for Youth Justice residential.

Better World Initiative has loaned unicycles to CLS (an Alternative Education School in Auckland that works with approximately 500 full-time students each year); TE ROOPU O WAI ORA INC (provides early intervention programmes specifically targeted at ‘at-risk’ youth within schools) and FAST FORWARD (a free school holiday programme for needy children based in Central Auckland).

Better World Initiative has also donated money to several programmes for youth (particularly at-risk-youth) – including to Christian youth groups & camps, and to the CLS Alternative Education School. In 2011 the trust donated $2800 to TE ROOPU O WAI ORA INC so that the charity could buy a kayak for the at-risk youth participating in its programmes.
